a new division of Hydrotechnik
Hydrotechnik,
distributors of hydraulic test equipment to major UK
companies, are launching 3 divisions this year (jan2003).
Each division will focus on a particular range of goods and
expertise. Filtertechnik will specialise in filtration
products, oil analysis and related requirements. Flowtechnik
is to specialise in flowmeters and related products such as
instrumentation and level and Hydrotechnik will continue to
specialise in high quality test equipment such as Minimess
test points and data logging equipment.
Although
Hydrotechnik have established a strong presence in the
market places for these range of products and services, the
divisionalisation of the company into specific, product,
solutions and service provider divisions will mean even
better service for their existing and new
customers.
'Our
experience of the broad hydraulics/fluid/filtration markets
has revealed to us that there is a huge demand not only for
quality products but also for full solution and service
providers. We are responding to this demand by creating
three specialist divisions. Rationalisation in many
manufacturing companies has left a shortage of expertise and
manpower. We are can fill this knowledge and expertise gap
by providing full service as well as products,' says Richard
Price, Managing Director of Hydrotechnik. 'It's all about
giving value added service these days and we aim to be the
best'.
Each
division will be headed up by a senior sales director whose
remit will be to focus his team on delivering the best
goods, prices and service to the customer. 'As far as the
customer is concerned it is a win, win situation' says
Richard.
The
Filtertechnik division is to be spearheaded by a new
director with many years of experience in the filtration
industry and markets. Filtertechnik will offer its customers
an extensive range of filtration products and associated
services. Not only does it offer quality filtration products
at low prices, but it can also provide on-site service
visits as well as a full laboratory oil analysis service. It
has a particularly exciting new product in the PC9000 unit
which is a low cost oil monitor and which will be hugely
welcomed in the world of filtration and
hydraulics.
Les
Hughes, Sales Director of Hydrotechnik will head the
Flowtechnik Division. 'We want to provide a complete
diagnostic service to everybody who has a flowmetering
requirement' says Les. 'As part of our service we will visit
companies and suggest the best flowmeter for their
particular application'.
Mike
Benzies will continue at the forefront of the Hydrotechnik
division who will deal in test points and hand held test
equipment. 'Hydrotechnik products are the best on the
market' claims Mike. 'We will continue to work with our
customers, old and new, offering a first class product and
service which includes next day delivery and customised
products such as hoses and test kits'.
