Standard in-line filters mostly filter down to 20 micron efficiency. The most harmful contaminants in oil are the sub 5 micron particles, often which are also the most abrasive. The Hippo filter is capable of removing harmful solid contaminants down to less than 1 micron.

The Hippo range of filtration housings and systems, simultaneously removes both water and solid contaminants from a wide range of fuels and oils.

In applications where extreme levels of solids and/or moisture are present, various cartridge options are available

Utilising cellulose, VDM Filtersorb, synthetic media or polypropylene elements, these systems provide unparalleled filtration capacity which aids in reducing maintenance, keeping fuel or oils clean and prolonging equipment life.
